Ismanizam Jesmaj Azyze
ISMAZNIZAM JESMAJ AZYZE has been in the training and education line for over 20 years now. He holds a B.Ed (Hons) in TESL from Universiti Putra Malaysia and a postgraduate degree in American Studies from the University of Nottingham, United Kingdom.
He began his career as an English language educator as early as 1993 before joining Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia as a lecturer specializing in language education and the humanities. During this period of his career, he was actively involved in the local and international education scene, participating and presenting papers at international conferences that took him to different corners of the world. He has also published critical essays on language, literature and teacher education in books and international journals, organized international conferences and invited as a keynote and guest speaker at various events. He has also helped develop educational and vocational programs at the university and ministerial levels.
His expertise and active involvement and contribution in educational training was recognized when he became the sole Malaysian recipient of the 2007 Fulbright-US State Department Award which allowed him to be attached at various academic institutions in the US which include the renowned University of California at Berkerly, San Francisco, the George Washington University, and University of Louisville, Kentucky.
To date, he has conducted trainings for organizations such as Carigali Hess, Petronas, ASTRO, Impiana KLCC, Bank Muamalat, Bank Rakyat, Symphony Solutions, Shell, Allianz, DHL, TM Sales and Services, TV3, MISC, NAZA, Emkay Education, UM, UiTM, MPOB, INSPEN, Lembaga Getah Malaysia, Lembaga Koko Malaysia, Dawama Sdn Bhd, the Curriculum Development Center, to name but a few.
He is actively involved in the Malaysian graduate employability skills development programs. He is one of the training consultants selected for the Khazanah Nasional's Graduate Employability Management Scheme (GEMS) Program. There he trains the Customer Service and Business English modules. He is also engaged by Deloitte Consulting for the Iskandar Malaysia IBS certification project and the IMGLAD program. There he conducts professional and personal development training programs. Most recently, he conducted the Young Graduate Core Training (YGract) for Iskandar Malaysia.
His exposure to both the government and corporate management practices allows him to bring critical and fresh insights into how different organizations work and what makes or breaks an organization. Our clients who have gone through training sessions with him have experienced this comparative dimension in his delivery.
He is also a professional life member of the Malaysian English Language Teaching Association (MELTA), the Malaysian Association of American Studies (MAAS) & the Fulbright-US State Department Alumni. His areas of expertise includes Business Communication, Leadership, Train the Trainer, Critical Thinking, and Teambuilding.
