Meet Paul Dominic
Paul Dominic specialises in value
improvement practices, with over 30 years involvement in the Upstream
Oil and Gas industry having experience in all phases of upstream
projects from Exploration and Appraisal to Field Development Planning
and Project Delivery. He has seen the industry from different
perspectives having worked with a range of companies including
Malaysia's national oil company, an integrated multi-national, medium
sized E&P companies, as well as a subsurface consultancy.
He is an accomplished facilitator having
led numerous performance improvement workshops for subsurface and
project development teams while working for Shell in New Orleans, before
setting up his own project management consultancy in Brisbane - ESCKII
Pty Ltd.
Paul's Industrial Experience
- Risk and Integration Manager for the GLNG Project (a CSG to LNG joint-venture between Santos, Petronas, Total and Kogas)
- responsible for setting up the mega-project's risk management
framework, implemented project integration systems and processes &
developed the overall project's assurance framework.
- Project Manager of JV-Operated Projects with Santos Limited.
- Project Development Lead for the North West Shelf Western Flank Development - from initiation to conception selection up to handover to Woodside's Subsea Project Group.
- Subsurface Manager for the award-winning Goldeneye Project in the UK Central North Sea.
- Field Development Coordinator for Gannet Development (the first sub-sea cluster development in the UK North Sea).
- Involved in the first horizontal well drilled by the Shell Group in Erb West Field.
- Involved in developing the business case for a Gas Injection project offshore in the St. Joseph Field, East Malaysia.
- Worked internationally for PETRONAS in Malaysia, Shell in the UK, USA, Syria, the Gulf of Mexico and West Australia (seconded to Woodside) and Santos Limited in Queensland.
Paul has published
Reservoir Management in a Marginal North Sea Cluster Development presented at Offshore Europe, Aberdeen, United Kingdom in September 1993.
